Heidi Newman’s 2018 London Marathon fundraising target has reached an eye-watering £1500! Running in aid of the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust and Aid International, Heidi is already on schedule to smash her original target. For even more of a motivation – Heidi has upped her target to a whopping £4,000. That’s a finish line worth running for! You can help too by donating today.

Blog launch

Heidi’s blog features some awesome fundraising from work colleagues Natasha - involving rum punch … hic! and a super generous donation from Philippa. Heidi works as Production Manager at Karen Millen, and her office is supporting her all the way with a pre-Christmas yummy bake sale, bingo bonanza and much more. We’re looking forward to lots more ideas, activities and challenges to help Heidi zoom past the half-way mark and cruise to her £4,000 fundraising target.

Get involved and help Heidi reach her target

Please donate to Heidi’s fundraising page. Funds raised will go towards grants for children whose families work in UK fashion and textiles currently facing financial hardship. We believe no fashion or textile family should struggle financially to meet their child's basic needs and our work is more relevant than ever. In the last six months, FTCT has already supported over 300 children.

Grants can be used for essential items including school uniform, winter clothing and mobility and sensory items for children with additional needs. You can see here just some of the ways an FTCT grant can really help.

Part of Heidi’s fundraising will also benefit Aid International, a fund-raising charitable trust working in partnership with other charities across the world for a variety of projects and charities to benefit the poor.
