When Joslyn had to cut back her hours at work, the family fell behind on their household bills and couldn't afford to replace Ebony's broken bed. Now, after receiving their grant, Ebony recorded a special video tour or her new furniture.

Joslyn applied for a grant after her hours were cut-back at the charity shop where she works as an Assistant Manager. Soon to be on maternity leave and with her husband in-between jobs at the time, the family got behind on their household bills and council tax. 

Josyln commented, “"This is my second time receiving the grant.The process has always been smooth, and the team has always been amazing. The constant worrying of " could I save this much to get what is needed?"

"It might take me 6 months to a year. That won't work. It's been a tough year, and the FTCT took that enormous worrying weight off our shoulders. I'm forever grateful, and I encourage other parents to allow them to help remove some of that weight as well."
