Fashion brand Just Hype has partnered with the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust to donate 100 backpacks to vulnerable children and young people this autumn.

Families receiving a grant from us throughout the summer have been issued with a code to redeem a free backpack and pencil case for their child. We are delighted to say that many grateful parents have already taken up this offer.

With 10 styles to choose from and free shipping, Just Hype hope these bags can help financially vulnerable children from families working across the UK fashion and textile industry feel school ready this September.

Just Hype selected the Trust as their charity partner for this project after reading about our School Uniform Campaign. School Uniform is just one of the many items funded by our grants, which help financially vulnerable families across the UK fashion and textile sector.

Just Hype Chief Operations Officer, Mike Thompson commented, “We are thrilled to partner with the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust in an endeavour to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable young people. Our collaboration aims to provide essential backpacks to those in need during the crucial back-to-school period.”

“We believe that every child deserves the tools for a successful education and a brighter future. By joining forces with the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust, we hope to inspire others in the industry to contribute to the well-being and education of young individuals. Together, we can make a real difference and pave the way for a better tomorrow.”

Anna Pangbourne, CEO of FTCT said about the partnership, “As a small charity, we simply don’t have the capacity to manage donated stock, so when Just Hype told us they could handle all the logistics, we jumped at the chance to say yes to this brilliant opportunity. The bags Just Hype have donated will really help our families, making their grant stretch further and giving financially vulnerable children the chance to go back to school with a bag to express their unique personality.”
